Got recommended this place by my boss as I was working away from home And it was brilliant so fresh and really tasty they were nice and helpful when ordering. I'll definitely be returning when I'm working down here again

Been coming here since I was a teenager, now 30 years later and the food is still superb! VERY friendly guy taking orders, food was super fresh, king prawns an absolute delight!! Thoroughly recommend, cash only though, so don't forget to bring some with you!

Picture this. My friend and I are sitting by a river, craving sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. The temptation is overpowering. We run - no, sprint - through many fields of livestock to reach our trusty wagon. An agonising 14 minute drive passes, and there, on the horizon, is the Yangtze River Chinese takeaway. Alas! Due to some dubious cash only policy, we, with only cards and rumbling stomachs, seek out the nearest ATM. However, no ATM can be found, so cashback from the local Co-op must suffice. Green olives. Pitted. Highly recommended with your next Chinese. Not 10 minutes later, we return to our automobile and devour the generous portions of ambrosia, food of the gods, that we have just obtained, for merely ten pounds and sixty pence. Yes, the chicken was crispy, and the rice warm and welcoming, perfected with cashback olives. Delicious, perfect, exquisite. 100% would recommend.It's a standard chinese takeaway but the food was very tasty with a generous amount, the prices are very fair and service is quick and professional. Will definitely be coming back.
